The Challenge
BYND entered a travel market dominated by hotels and general-purpose vacation rentals, but with a unique value: week-day vacancy in homes plus a need from business travelers for comfort + productivity. The challenge was bridging that gap and convincing travelers, employers, and property owners of their differentiated value.

The challenge was bridging that gap and convincing travelers, employers, and property owners of their differentiated value.
Though BYND had a compelling model—turning underutilized short-term rentals into upscale work-friendly homes for corporate travelers—they faced multiple hurdles. Business travelers were conditioned to book hotels with predictable amenities, not homes. The value of workspace, stability, and comfort needed to be clearly communicated. On the supply side, homeowners with properties listed on Airbnb or VRBO needed convincing that listing for business travel via BYND would be reliable and lucrative. Meanwhile, corporate travel managers and HR teams required confidence in quality, safety, consistency, and booking logistics. In short, BYND needed to craft a narrative that resonated simultaneously with property hosts, business travelers, and decision-makers.

Our Strategy
We designed a cohesive content and brand positioning strategy that elevated BYND from “another short-term rental platform” to the preferred corporate housing solution — by weaving emotional narratives, trust signals, operational transparency, and B2B targeting in one unified framework.
We designed a cohesive content and brand positioning strategy that elevated BYND from “another short-term rental platform” to the preferred corporate housing solution — by weaving emotional narratives, trust signals, operational transparency, and B2B targeting in one unified framework.
We began by articulating BYND’s story: how it addresses loneliness, stress, and inefficiency in business travel by giving people a “home away from home.” From that foundation, we built content that told the stories of travelers who used BYND to feel more grounded, productive, and rested, along with homeowners who earned reliable income from week-day bookings. We created behind-the-scenes content about property onboarding, quality checks, safety protocols, and host support systems to build confidence. Then we layered in B2B messaging targeting HR, travel managers, and corporate buyers—explaining cost savings, employee retention benefits, and operational ease. Across social media, blog, email, paid channels, and sales collateral, we aligned messaging to each stakeholder’s pain points. This narrative-driven content strategy made the value clear, emotional, and actionable — giving BYND a distinct position in the corporate travel space.
